The Washington Post lamented Thursday that the First Amendment makes it difficult to prosecute “white supremacists” for their political beliefs.
From The Washington Post, “Why free speech makes it difficult to prosecute white supremacy in America”:
Federal authorities have used RICO many times to prosecute white prison gangs, but what got the members of organizations such as the Aryan Brotherhood locked up under the statute was not the racism they believed but the acts they committed: crimes including drug trafficking, murder, kidnapping and money laundering.
Tech giant Google has blacklisted the free-speech focused social media app Gab from the Google Play Store, joining Apple in banning Gab users from accessing the platform using Gab-branded smartphone apps.
Silicon Valley tech giant Google has reportedly banned the free-speech focused social media platform Gab from the Google Play Store.
According to a screenshot posted by Gab to Twitter, Google banned the app from the store for “Violation of User Generated Content (UGC) Policy.” Essentially, it appears that Gabs refusal to censor users’ content is what resulted in the app being removed from the store.
Conservatives from all over have gathered in Washington D.C. Saturday to demonstrate in support of free speech, but far-left Antifa terrorists have vowed to bring violence against them.
The “Demand Free Speech” rally, which featured a who’s-who of conservative speakers like Milo Yiannopoulos, Roger Stone, Jack Posobiec, and others, is taking place at Freedom Plaza just blocks from the White House, and the police established a heavy presence in anticipation of far-left violence.
Antifa had amassed their troops around the event carrying full backpacks, with video footage capturing members intimidating Trump supporters and trying to prevent them from defending their First Amendment rights.
An activist who penned articles supporting pedophilia in the 90s has been identified attending an Antifa meeting on Tuesday.
During the event, members discussed their plan to disrupt and shut down July 6th’s Demand Free Speech Rally in Washington, D.C.
Luke Kuhn has written several articles defending pedophilia, such as one archived piece where he said, “Many early-teenage girls would LOVE a roll in the hay with Leonardo DeCaprio! It is no crime for DeCaprio to take the girls up on the offers he must surely get.”
The UK-based Guardian newspaper explains this week that silencing unpopular opinions is not a violation of free speech because “some debates should be shut down.”
While insisting that censorship of ideas is greatly exaggerated by free speech advocates, writer Martha Gill goes on to make the very argument that defenders of free speech criticize: that the wardens of groupthink have the right to silence opinions that they disagree with.
Coming to the defense of “those who might want to shut down a debate,” Ms. Gill insists that such a measure is not a “mark of intolerance” because “some debates should be shut down.”
“For public dialogue to make any progress, it is important to recognise when a particular debate has been won and leave it there,” she declares in her article, suggestively titled: “Free speech isn’t under threat. It just suits bigots and boors to suggest so.”
Just days after being banned and deleted by Facebook, Natural News has now learned that Facebook banned Natural News because of an opinion article that Natural News never posted to Facebook. The article in question — “LGBT progressivism horrors” — warned against children being physically and chemically disfigured by parents pushing an LGBT indoctrination agenda onto their own children.
Facebook now says the existence of this article is the reason Natural News was de-platformed from Facebook. This means Facebook is banning channels for “off-platform” content.
It’s also an admission that Natural News did nothing to violate any community guidelines or terms of service with Facebook. Quite the opposite, in fact: The Natural News social media team followed a strict procedure of self-censorship all through 2019, meaning no articles about LGBT topics were posted to the Natural News channel on Facebook.
During an #Exeter event featuring speakers Milo Yiannopoulos and Sargon of Akkad, a woman holding a sign allegedly reading “Allah is Gay” had her property ripped from her hands by a police officer.
Many people in the crowd booed as the officer walked away with the sign and one individual yelled, “Free speech!”

A new survey has revealed that almost half of college students do not believe that all speech should be protected under the First Amendment.
The study, conducted by the Knight Foundation, discovered that students believe that statements or content categorized as ‘hate speech’ should not be protected under the banner of freedom of speech.
A total of 41 percent said they do not think such speech should be protected, while 58 percent believe it should.
Disturbingly, when broken down into demographics of race and gender, the figures show that in some cases a MAJORITY of students believe that not all speech is protected.
A total of 53 percent of college women said ‘hate speech’ should not be protected, as well a more than half of all black students.
CNN’s panel of totalitarian wannabes is setting the table for the ban of President Trump’s social media presence.
And while CNN hides behind the Facebook is a private company so we can censor free speech regardless of the 1st Amendment excuse. Does that mean Facebook can violate any and all of its users Bill Of Rights?
And what about CNN? Who has systematically targeted the President over a false collusion narrative, targeted Trump supporting teenagers in DC, and openly targeted tax paying Americans by supporting Antifa. A communist leaning organization hell bent on the take down of the United States. Is there anything we can do to stop what is amounting to full blown treason occupying televisions across the United States?
Several mainstream media outlets announced news of Facebook’s latest Infowars ban within moments of each other, leading many to accuse the company of coordinating the announcement with members of the media.
On Thursday, users on Twitter noted that CNN, The Verge, The Washington Post and The Atlantic all published articles about Facebook and Instagram’s purge of content associated with Alex Jones within minutes of each other.
The Atlantic article even contained a custom graphic.
