A UK brewery’s campaign to highlight the “gender pay gap” imploded spectacularly after they lost a lawsuit for refusing to sell a beer made for women to a man.
BrewDog announced their “Pink IPA” in 2018 to mark International Women’s Day.
The beer is the same formula as one of BrewDog’s other beers, “Punk IPA,” but “Pink” comes with pink artwork, a label that says “beer for girls,” and a 20% discount – for women.
Talk show host Bill Maher says that “political correctness is a cancer on progressivism” and that the “vast majority” of liberals in America hate it.
During an appearance on CNN’s Cuomo Prime Time last night, the Real Time host complained that he was constantly on the receiving end of criticism for asking tough questions of Democratic politicians.
“When you talk to Trump supporters, they’re not blind to his flaws but they always say he’s not politically correct,” said Maher. “I don’t think you can overestimate how much people have been choking on political correctness and hate it. There were two studies about this recently … The vast majority of liberals in this country hate it. They think political correctness has gone way too far. No one likes to be living on egg shells.”

Independent journalist Tim Pool was leaked an email showing Slate journo April Glaser appearing to threaten Chase Bank with negative press if they don’t deplatform the right-wing activist group The Proud Boys.
From Tim Pool:
Following the Vox controversy with Steven Crowder, or #VoxAdpocalypse, and mass censorship hitting youtube I found it pertinent to show how these activists in media operate and how they use framing devices to target people like conservatives and other political groups.
The reporter in question has advocated for government regulation to restrict speech and I believe this shows her to be an activist acting to target and cause harm to political rivals.
Microsoft is set to release a new version of Word that uses artificial intelligence to make your writing ‘politically correct’.
You know how annoying it is when the iPhone corrects ‘fucking’ to ‘ducking’ every time you type out the word? Imagine that for an entire essay.
The new feature, called ‘Ideas in Word’, will recommend ‘sensitive’ phrases like “We need to get some fresh blood in here” be modified so that “fresh blood” becomes “new employees”.
“It might underline places where your writing exhibited gender bias,” reports Fast Company. “If you tend to say “mailman” or Congressman” in the generic, it might suggest you use “mailperson” or “Congressperson.” If you use the term “gentlemen’s agreement,” it may suggest you use “unspoken agreement” instead.”

President Trump complained on Twitter that the Kentucky Derby disqualification of horse Maximum Security was the result of political correctness.
“The Kentuky Derby decision was not a good one. It was a rough and tumble race on a wet and sloppy track, actually, a beautiful thing to watch,” Trump tweeted Sunday.
“Only in these days of political correctness could such an overturn occur. The best horse did NOT win the Kentucky Derby – not even close!”
Social scientist Noah Carl, a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Cambridge, was sacked on Tuesday night and stripped of his fellowship for conducting research deemed “problematic” and “racist.”
From The Times:
A controversial scholar accused of conducting “racist” research was stripped of his fellowship at a Cambridge University college last night after an investigation into his work.
A panel at St Edmund’s College looking into complaints about Noah Carl, a social scientist, concluded that his work was “problematic”.
The former fellow had spoken at a eugenics conference and has said that hostility to immigrant groups draws on “rational beliefs” about stereotypes that are “quite accurate”.
In a letter of redress leaked to The Times Matthew Bullock, the master of St Edmund’s, confirmed Dr Carl’s fellowship had been terminated. Mr Bullock said that college heads had “considered the special investigation panel in relation to your complaints about the nature and quality of Dr Carl’s work.
Terry Gilliam is never afraid to speak his mind — even when it may not be the popular opinion.
The 78-year-old, who has made headlines for criticizing the #MeToo movement and defending Johnny Depp amid domestic violence accusations, expounded on comments he made last year after the head of BBC comedy said that if Monty Python was made today, it wouldn’t be “six white Oxbridge blokes” because programming is becoming more diverse. At the time, Gilliam, who rose to stardom as part of the troupe (first as an animator and then as an actor), deemed himself “angry” over what he perceived to be forced diversity, saying, “I no longer want to be a white male, I don’t want to be blamed for everything wrong in the world: I tell the world now I’m a black lesbian. … My name is Loretta and I’m a BLT, a black lesbian in transition.”
However, in an interview with the Wall Street Journal, The Man Who Killed Don Quixote director said he actually “wasn’t particularly angry” he just “played angry.”
An architecture expert has called for Notre Dame’s fallen spire to be replaced with an Islamic minaret as an apology to Algerian Muslims killed by French police.
Writing in Domus, Tom Wilkinson, history editor of the Architectural Review, argues that the rebuild is an opportunity to communicate a message of political correctness.
“I can’t say I ever thought it the most beautiful cathedral in the world,” writes Wilkinson, before going on to slam Eugène Viollet-le-Duc, the cathedral’s 19th century restorer, accusing him of “utterly unforgettable fantasies of structural engineering”.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus isn’t here for comedians who say PC culture is killing comedy.
The “Veep” star and recipient of the 2018 Mark Twain Award for Comedy made clear to Vogue on Thursday that she doesn’t sympathize with the complaints of comedians — such as, say, her former co-star Jerry Seinfeld — that political correctness is holding them back from doing their work.
“When it comes to being ‘politically correct’ for me, that’s a red flag word because ultimately, for me — and this is my opinion — that’s born out of ultimately being kind,” the multiple Emmy winner explained. “So for me, ‘politically correct’ means, you know, be a human being, be mindful of being kind. And it doesn’t mean you can’t satirize. And it doesn’t mean that you can’t take snark to DEFCON 5. But I think you and I both know that there’s a difference. And I do believe that when people talk about, Oh, I have to be so politically correct here, that’s a buzzword for something else that I don’t subscribe to anyway.”
What in the world are they teaching to our young people?
As you go through the list of college course titles below, I am sure that many of you will be completely shocked. Most parents assume that they are sending their children to college to get prepared for their future careers, but the truth is that a lot of our major colleges and universities have become little more than indoctrination centers for progressive thought. Our college students are literally being systematically trained to be socialists, and it is working. According to a brand new Harris Poll that was just released, 37.2 percent of all Americans “prefer living in a socialist country”. But for Millennials and Generation Z combined, that figure is 49.6 percent. That means that essentially half of our young adults want to be socialists, and that has enormous implications for the future of our society.
So how did this happen?
